Water Quality: Management, Sanitation and Investigation

Water Quality Management

Medium-term Management

Optimal water quality can be reached by using a balanced water retention plan with slight variation in levels. Erosion processes along the banks are avoided. Since the growth of submersed macrophytes (under water plants) which also take algae nutrients out of the water is possible. These are then fixed in the plant biomass in the sediment.
