Complex methods of combating causes and water conservation strategies for drinking water reservoirs combined with sensible use of self-cleaning processes in the waters of the entire catchment area by using ecological control and by giving due consideration to ecological aspects lower expenditure of costs and waste disposal represents a strategy for the future when compared to water treatment technology that becomes more and more complex.
